Age spots on your skin




Time and tide wait for none. And our skin bears the brunt of the passing years. None of us want to show that age is catching up, but the age spots on our skin let the cat out of the bag. They mar an otherwise perfect complexion. You can’t stop time but you can find comfort in erasing those age advertisers by using products right from your own kitchen.


Follow these useful home remedies:

 
1.  Rub aloe vera juice or gel onto the affected area twice a day.


2.  Rub the fleshy side of green papaya on the spots and wash with water after 15-20 minutes.


3.  Using a cloth or cotton pad apply a mixture of 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon orange juice on the age spots. Leave for 10-15 minutes and then wash thoroughly.


4.  Mix together equal quantities of plain yogurt and honey. Apply the mixture on the affected area and wash with water after 30 minutes.


5.  Rub a fresh onion slice or garlic on the spots for 10-15 minutes and then wash with water. Repeat this process every alternate day.


6.  Mix together a spoonful of vinegar and olive oil each and keep it aside for 5-10 minutes. Apply on the age spots and wash with water after 15-20 minutes.


7.  Prepare a paste by mixing 2 teaspoon buttermilk and 1 teaspoon fresh tomato paste and apply this paste on the age spots. Leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash with cold water.


8.  Dab a cotton ball in freshly squeezed lemon juice and apply it on the age spots twice daily.


9.  Soak a small cotton pad in castor oil and apply it on the spots gently. Leave for 20 minutes and then wash with water.


10.  Mix cucumber juice and milk in equal proportions and apply on the affected area.  Leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash with cold water. Repeat this process twice a day.

Unwanted facial hair





                                         



A full haired head is to be envied. Yet facial hair, besides being fashionably unacceptable, ranks among the most embarrassing beauty problems for thousands of women across the globe. This unwanted hair disturbs the beauty of a woman and challenges her femininity. There are many ways to get rid of unwanted facial hair like plucking, trimming, waxing, applying hair removing creams, electrolysis, laser hair removal, etc. But most of these methods require professional help and have side effects. The preferred solution for unwanted facial hair removal would be some kind of home remedy. Right? Here is a list of various natural techniques made from kitchen ingredients that you can try in your home to lighten the colour of your facial hair or rid yourself of this menace.
 

Follow these tips:



1.  Apply a mask of a mixture of 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 4 teaspoons honey in the direction of hair growth. Leave for 10-15 minutes before washing with water.


2.  Make a paste by mixing together sugar, water and lemon juice. Apply this paste on your face in the direction of hair growth and wash when dry. Repeat this process once a week.

 
3.  Prepare a paste by mixing together gram flour (besan), wheat flour, and milk cream, a few drops of lime juice, mustard oil and water. Apply on your face by rubbing it in circular movements. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. Do this daily.



4.  Mix turmeric powder with milk and apply on the face. Scrub it off slowly moving your fingers in circular motion, and then wash with cold water.


5.  Apply a paste of besan, pinch of turmeric powder and water or curd evenly all over the face and neck. Once it begins to dry, rub off the crumbles with your fingers and then wash with tap water.


6.  Mix together equal quantities of fenugreek seeds powder and green gram powder and make a paste with water. Apply it on your face. Scrub off when dry.


7. While bathing regularly use pumice stone very gently in rotating motion.
