Skin Rashes



    

Rashes cause an outbreak of eruptions on the body that change the way the skin looks and feels. Though not life-threatening, rashes are often bothersome, uncomfortable or even itchy and painful.

Here are a few home remedies to get rid of rashes:

* Apply aloe Vera gel on the affected area and wash after 10-15 minutes. Repeat after every 3 hours.

* Massage the rash area with olive oil or almond oil.

* Pour a cupful of uncooked oatmeal into the bathwater and soak your body in it for 15-20 minutes.

* Apply baking powder on the rash area.

* Apply a dab of toothpaste on the rashes and wash after 15 minutes.

* Warm a slice of bread and place it on the affected area for some time.

* Apply chamomile tea or dry on the rashes.

* Grind 10-15 basil leaves with 1 teaspoon olive oil, 2 garlic cloves, a pinch of salt and pepper and smear it on the rashes. Leave for 20-25 minutes and then wash with water.

* Apply chopped mint leaves on the affected area.

Frizzy Hair




 
* Massage your head with a paste of a mashed ripe banana and a mashed ripe avocado mixed together. Rinse with cold water after 15 minutes.

* Mix together a mashed ripe avocado, 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoon olive oil. Mix until creamy and work into your hair. Shampoo as usual after 20 minutes.

* Mix together 2 tablespoon conditioner, 1 tablespoon honey and ½ teaspoon almond oil. Work this mixture thoroughly into your damp hair and shampoo as usual after 20 minutes.

* Massage a generous amount of sesame or apricot oil into your hair and scalp. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo as usual.

* Warm half a cup of mayonnaise and apply to your hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo as usual.

* Warm half a cup of olive oil in the microwave and use a wide toothed comb to work it well into your hair. Cover your hair with a towel and leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo as usual.

* After washing your hair, use flat beer (beer without the fizz) as the last rinse.

Maintain Good Health



           


* Consider your body as the temple of God. Keep it clean and tidy, both inside and outside.

* Keep the body active but do not get overdo it, so that it does not get overtired. Exercise in moderation and do not let it grow fat. Keep it slim.

* Be careful about the quality and quantity of your diet. It should be simple and containing necessary vitamins and proteins. Eat only when you are hungry. Do not overload your stomach. Avoid food which takes a long time to digest.

* Avoid tobacco, alcoholic drinks and intoxicating drugs.




* Morning and evening walks, deep breathing and sun-bath are recommended.

* Take bath daily and preferably with fresh water.

* Observe self-restraint in sensual desires and passions.

* Keep your mind cheerful and contented.

* Anger, worry, jealousy, enmity and hatred should be controlled these are not conducive to happy mind and healthy body.

* Have good sleep. Six to seven hours are sufficient, but do not sleep for too long either.
