When
a small seed is sown in the soil, it doesn’t ’t germinate within a second,
within a minute, within an hour and within a day; it will take for a few days
to germinate into a seedling, and then it will take for a few weeks and months
to grow and develop into a beautiful plant. A small seed keeps its patience to
grow into a plant. But it doesn’t give up its growing before time.
“One moment of patience may ward off great
disaster. One moment of impatience may ruin a whole life.”
A baby will take nine months to come
out from its mother’s womb. During all these nine months, a mother keeps her
patience while facing all the hurdles and pains only to bring out her child in
this world. But she doesn’t try to deliver her child before time.
A hen keeps her patience while
hatching her eggs so that she could see her chicks coming out. But she doesn’t
smash her eggs before time.
It is the universal law that
everything takes time to grow, develop and flourish. Nothing happens before
time.
Patience
is the key factor in everything in this world.
Without patience, nothing is
possible. If you want to see the final outcome of whatever you do in your life,
then you have to keep your patience.
Why many people fail in their lives,
despite of their hard works and labors? The only reason of their failures is
that they can’t wait; they can’t give time; they want instant results and
success. They fail to keep their patience.
“Little by little through patience and
repeated effort,
the mind will become stilled in the Self.”
---Bhagwad Gita
The above verse from Bhagwad Gita
urges you:
• Keep doing your work.
• Don’t stop.
• Focus on yourself.
• Keep your patience.
• Grow slow, but steady.
• Never get hurry for anything
• Don’t afraid to grow slowly.
• Things will take time to grow and
develop.
• You will get the fruit of your hard
work when you keep your patience.
Anecdote:
Once upon a time, there was a man who was disappointed
with his life. He worked very hard all day and put in much effort, but he
always faced failure. The man felt very frustrated, so one day he left
everything and exiled himself to the forest. He met a hermit there. Seeing the
frustrated man, the hermit asked him why he was living in the woods. The man
told the hermit about his failure and asked, “Please tell me one reason why I
should not give up my sad life?
The hermit laughed and explained to
the man that the little bamboo tree was using all the nourishment to grow below
the soil and to develop its strong root system that would help it grow
tremendously tall. The Chinese bamboo developed a strong foundation to help and sustain
itself in its later years.
What are the hidden messages in the
Chinese Bamboo’s story?
• You have to keep your patience in
every situation of your life.
• You have to keep your persistence
even you will witness your setbacks and failures.
• You have to keep your faith in your
own potential.
• You have to grow yourself every
day.
• You have to build your own solid
foundation to achieve success.
• You shouldn’t get distracted from
your goal.
• You shouldn’t give up in your life.
A Patient Man:
• He keeps his patience in every
situation of his life.
• He never does anything in a hurry.
• He waits for the right time.
• He knows that he could only grow
gradually.
• He follows the nature’s law.
• He never goes against anything.
• He never loses his hopes.
• He maintains his balance life.
• He knows the importance of his
life.
• He knows the importance of his
patience.
An Impatient Man:
• He is impatience in every situation
of his life.
• He is always in a hurry.
• He wants everything before time.
• He wants to grow fast.
• He never follows the nature’s law.
• He always goes against everything.
• He quits too early.
• He lives an imbalanced life.
• He plays with his own life.
• He always fails to keep his
patience.
“Patience is not simply the ability to wait- it’s
how we behave while we’re waiting.”
---Joyce Meyer
