Acidity-How to cure acidity?




Acidity is a condition in which there is an excess secretion of acid within the stomach.


Main causes of acidity:


If there is some problems in the functioning of the digestive system.


Excessive intakes of alcohol.

Acidity also cause by keeping stomach empty for long time.


Eating too much fats content foods like chocolates.

It also cause due to pregnancy, aging or obesity.

Eating junk foods like oily and spicy foods.





Symptoms of acidity:


Restlessness and continuous cramps in the stomach.

Nausea and vomiting.

Bellyache.

Sour belches and passing off wind.

Problems in breathing.

Coughing.




Simples tips to prevent acidity:


Eat fruits and vegetables which content rich fibres. 

Avoid spicy foods.

Avoid oils and fats.

Avoid sour foods, onions, red meats, tea and coffee.

Avoid smoking.

Avoid alcohols.

Avoid pickles, curds, tamarinds and vinegar.

Don’t eat fried foods, fatty, junk foods and chocolates.

Eat food having rich carbohydrates like rice.

Eat cucumber, watermelon, papaya and banana.




Home remedies to cure acidity:

Take ginger and coriander in your food daily.

Drink a lot of water in the morning, at least 1-2 glasses of water.


Take orange juice with mixture of roasted cumin seeds and add some rock salt.

Mix 2 teaspoon of Isabgol in milk and take after every meal.

Drink coconut oil, it will help in getting relief from acidity.
