Open pores on your face



Open pores affect the appearance of a face and attract unwanted attention. The worst part is that, unattractive as they are, make up can do little to conceal them. There is no permanent remedy for this menace unless scrubs and packs can help in reducing the size of the pores.


Follow these tips:



1.  Add a few drops of lime juice to 2 teaspoon tomato juice and apply it on the affected area. Leave for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water. You can also add tomato juice to calamine powder or sandalwood powder and apply it on the affected area.
 

2.  Apply mashed papaya on the face and wash thoroughly after some time with lukewarm water.


3.  Apply a mixture of rice powder and rose water on your face. Make circular movements while applying it on the skin. Leave for few minutes and then wash with cold water.


4.  Apply a paste of multani mitti (fuller’s earth) on your face and wash thoroughly with lukewarm water after it dries.


5.  Mix honey with a little lemon juice and sugar and apply it on your face. Gently massage your face and wash with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.


6.  Prepare a paste of powdered fenugreek seeds mixed with milk and apply it on your face in the morning. Leaving for about 20 minutes and washes with cold water.
 

7.  Prepare a mask of oatmeal and cucumber juice and apply it on your face. Leave for 5-10 minutes and then wash with water.


8.  Prepare a paste by mixing 1 tablespoon ground oatmeal, 3-4 drops lemon juice, few drops rose water and 1 tablespoon curd. Apply this pack on your face and wash when dry.

 
9.  Soak a potato in water for about an hour and then rub a slice of the potato on your skin after you wash your face at night.


10.  Rub an ice cube wrapped in a cotton cloth on your before going out.

Stretch Marks



                                                


Almost every woman at some time in her life develops stretch marks. Stretch marks are dreadful skin marks but an unfortunate reality. They are the telltales of extreme weight gain or loss or puberty or pregnancy. Although stretch marks are not harmful, these scars are never desirable and we all want to know how to get rid of them. For women, who are usually very conscious about their looks, these marks are definitely as major no-no. Once the stretch marks develop they will stay with you forever; but fortunately with some effort they can be made less visible.
 
 Follow these tips:

1.  Rub cocoa butter on the stretch marks after a warm shower.

2.  Grind some coffee beans to fine powder and mix any regular hand cream or moisturizer cream. Rub this cream into your stretch marks in a circular motion for about a minute or two and then wipe off with a warm wet towel. Repeat this process twice a day.
 
3.  Apply aloe vera gel on the scarred area.

4.  Massage a generous amount of castor oil on the stretch marks, cover with a plastic wrap and place a hot water bottle on it. Wash with water after 30 minutes.

5.  Rub the affected area with apricot scrub.

6.  Mix together a small of almond oil, half teaspoon each of chamomile oil and lavender oil and massage on the affected area.

7.  Rub flax-seed or lavender oil on stretch marks after taking a bath in the morning and once more before going to bed. On new scars, rub it a few times a day.
