Vitamins for Good Health









 
  
                                              Easily available sources of vitamins are:


           
 Vitamin 'A':  Milk, milk products, apricots, carrots, peaches, tomatoes,sweet potatoes, raw leafy vegetables, figs.                       

Vitamin 'B' : All grains, yeast, nuts, fruits and vegetables, milk, cheese, bran, bananas.

Vitamins 'C' : Citrus fruits, tomatoes, lemon, papaya, raw cabbages, guava, leafy vegetables, radish, apples.

Vitamin 'D' : Sun-shine( morning), banana, butter milk, curd.

Vitamin 'E' : Soya and other beans, wheat, wheat germ oil, nuts, lettuce.

Calcium :  Milk, milk products, leafy vegetables.

Phosphorus : Milk, milk products, cereals.

Magnesium : Green vegetables.

Make these fruits and vegetables as your daily food habits.

Please note: Regular and unnecessary consumption of vitamins and minerals in the form of pills imposes extra burden on the system and may give rise to certain diseases like jaundice, ulcer, headache, nausea, etc.
