* Never ignore the importance of drinking at least eight
glasses of water every day. Besides hydrating your skin and body, it also
hydrates your hair.
* Eating a well-balanced diet rich in proteins and vitamins
will keep your hair healthy and glowing.
* Get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks.
* Stop washing your hair with hot water and use cold water
instead. Hot water is torture for your hair.
* Wash your brush or comb at least once a week.
* Do not use too many chemical products or hair styling
tools on your hair.
* Choose the shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair
type. The milder the shampoo and conditioner you use, the better it is.
* At least seven to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep is
important for healthy hair. It isn’t called ‘beauty sleep’ for nothing. Cut
down your sleep rations for just a few nights and effect will show up in your
hair.
* Give up smoking and drinking.
* Exercise regularly and spend some time on meditation and
yoga on a regular basis.
* Do not expose yourself too much to the sun as its
ultraviolet rays are harmful for both skin and hairs.
